Information
changes everything.
When you can see how your books are selling, you can understand what is working, ask better questions and take part in more informed conversations with your publisher.
Sales information shouldn't be a mystery to the people who created the work.
Transparency
isn't a favour.
EU copyright law includes transparency obligations toward authors and performers. Article 19 of the DSM Directive establishes a right to appropriate, up-to-date and comprehensive information on exploitation of their works, subject to its legal conditions and national implementation.
Edda helps publishers share sales information more easily. It does not replace legal reporting obligations, and daily Edda access is not itself a statutory entitlement.
Less waiting.
More understanding.
Edda brings together sales information from different channels and formats. Your publisher decides when to invite you and what information to share.

Want a clearer
picture?
Ask your publisher how they share sales information with authors. If they don't use Edda yet, you can introduce them to a simpler way of working with transparency.
